Broken Beautifully is the story of how a young woman’s past comes back to try to steer her future in a different direction. Cami McKay is a beautiful and smart lawyer. From the outside it seems like she has it all: a good job, a nice house, and an expensive car. But what the world can’t see is how empty Cami feels each night as she sits alone at home. All her worldly possessions mean nothing if she has no one significant to share them with. Then she meets Tony Fleming. Tony is an award winning artist, who has everything he wants in life. Except someone to share it with. He is instantly mesmerized by Cami’s beauty and intelligence, but Cami feels unworthy of his love. Tony does everything he can to show her how much she means to him: he writes her love poems, sends her chocolate covered strawberries, and takes her to her favorite places. But most importantly, he makes her feel safe. He is the complete opposite of the men she has been with in the past, all of whom made her feel completely worthless and unlovable. She finally feels like she can be herself and open up to him, without him shutting her down and making her feel stupid. As confusing as Cami’s feelings are toward Tony, he realizes that Cami has never been in a healthy relationship, and needs his directness, honesty, and openness to allow her heart to fully heal from the past. Cami’s heart finally heals and she opens her heart to allow herself to fully love again. On the eve of Cami and Tony’s “one-year dating” anniversary, Quinn, Cami’s ex-boyfriend, shows up at Cami’s apartment. Quinn shocks her by telling her that he still loves her and wants to marry her. Cami’s world spins out of control when she is faced with the man she once loved, but who left her to be with another woman. For years she prayed that Quinn would realize what he had lost in her and come begging for her to take him back… Just like he was now. But what about Tony? She loved him deeply. Unsure of what to do, Cami cuts ties with both men in order to try and hear what her heart is telling her. Quinn vows to wait for her— no matter how long it takes. While Tony reassures her of his love, he also refuses to be placed on the same level as Quinn, and chooses to walk away. Will Cami allow Tony to walk away from what could be the love of their lives? Or will she face her past and learn to trust Quinn again?

“What an amazing book!” -review by Sandra Gardener
This book grabbed my attention from the very start. I could relate to Cami on so many levels. I can’t wait for the next book by Lane Gardner.
“Good book, but needs some work” -review by Hector Moore
Overall the book was good. But I felt like Tony was a bit unrealistic. Most men would not act the way he did. I think the author should re-work some of those parts.”
“Loved the ending!” -review by Cassie Taylor
I loved that the book kept me guessing until the end. I really wasn’t sure if Cami was going to end up with Tony or choose to go her own way. The author did a great job of interweaving the storylines to keep the reader wondering what would happen!
“Every woman over 30 who is single should read this book!” -review by Sharon P.
I loved this book. I know it is fiction, but it hits on so many different aspects of why women stay single. Cami is afraid to love and get hurt again, but as the reader you want her to find love again. It really made me think about my own relationships and how they have affected me. Every woman who is single should read this book!
Thanks you! Your comment is truly appreciate and we shall definitely give our all to always be a gateway for phenomenal books.
